For those new to the term, exfoliation simply means the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin using a chemical or a granular substance. In the case with our soaps, we use no chemicals for exfoliation, just gritty substances, such as sea salt, oatmeal, seeds, tea leaves, etc. Depending on the soap and its purpose, they will differ in types of courseness, from fine and powdery to rough and grainy. However, these soaps contain NO exfoliants and are nice and smooth.
